Our History
Founded in 2009 in Dubai, Silex EPC began as a specialist electrical contracting firm and has since grown into a full-service EPC company operating across the GCC and Central Asia. Over 15 years, we have delivered more than 200 projects spanning energy infrastructure, commercial developments, and industrial facilities.

Buyaka Mall — Istanbul
Major mixed-use retail development in the Ümraniye district of Istanbul. With 116,932 m² total gross floor area, 32,499 m² of leasable retail space, 4 shopping floors with approximately 166 stores, and parking for 1,200 vehicles, the project delivers a high-quality shopping and lifestyle experience.

Demirören Mall (İstiklal Avenue) — Istanbul
Landmark retail development on İstiklal Caddesi, Istanbul's most vibrant urban corridor. Constructed on the historic Luxembourg Hotel site adjacent to the iconic Odeon Theater, the project encompasses 19,000 m² of construction area with 41 retail units, integrating urban retail within a historically significant setting.
Mixed-Use
Ege Perla — Izmir
Signature mixed-use development in Izmir's New City Center. Two towers reaching 186 meters — 46 and 29 storeys — on an 18,392 m² site. Designed by Aga Khan Award-winning architect Emre Arolat, combining residential, office, and a 26,000 m² semi-open retail mall. Completed 2016–2017.

Natural Gas Power Plant
A ~550 MW combined cycle gas power plant with GE LM6000 gas turbines and 220kV GIS switchgear. Scope included full EPC delivery from civil works through commissioning, with a 36-month project timeline.

Solar Power Plant
175 MW utility-scale photovoltaic installation spanning 320 hectares. Silex EPC managed the complete design-build cycle including substation integration, tracker installation, and grid synchronization across a 24-month schedule.

Balykchy Solar Power Plant — Kyrgyzstan
300 MW utility-scale photovoltaic installation spanning 400 hectares in Balykchy, Issyk-Kul Region, Kyrgyzstan. A flagship renewable energy project creating 500+ local jobs with full EPC delivery including grid integration.

Entrepreneur and senior executive with extensive international experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, and project finance. Founder & CEO of Kyrgyz Green Infrastructure Fund and Co-Founder of Sunergy Ventures International. Has delivered large-scale energy assets including a 175 MW solar plant in Turkiye.

Co-Founder & Chief Engineering Officer
Electrical engineer with over 20 years of leadership in large-scale construction and renewable energy. Has led utility-scale solar power plants and complex energy systems across the full project lifecycle. Defines SILEX's technical vision and project development strategy.
Alkin Ankarali
Deputy General Manager — Energy Projects
Electrical Engineer (ITU) with a Master's degree from Sakarya University and extensive experience in renewable energy projects totaling approximately 2 GW across solar, wind, and hydroelectric sectors. Held senior engineering and leadership positions at Enka, Zorlu Energy, ABB, and Agaoglu Energy.
